Listen, I know that the spoilers are out there, but it’s much more fun to go into this blind. Also, I think it’s pretty easy to pick winners for this show, so whatever. This is probably the best Battle of the Belts card yet, and I’m really looking forward to it.

Wardlow vs. Jay Lethal – TNT Championship Match

Jay Lethal might eat 500 powerbombs in this match. Wardlow is pretty obviously going to retain his title here. I’m not quite sure where they’re going with either of these guys after this, but this is going to be a really good match. Jay Lethal hasn’t missed recently and Wardlow is one of the most popular guys on the roster. The biggest question mark here is whether or not Satnam takes a bump.

Prediction – Wardlow retains

Claudio Castagnoli vs. Konosuke Takeshita – ROH Championship Match

Claudio and Takeshita both rule. This match is going to go super hard. This is probably Claudio’s biggest singles match since leaving WWE and I expect him to go nuts tonight. It’s his first defense after beating Jonathan Gresham for the strap a few weeks ago, so he’ll be retaining tonight. Takeshita has been absolutely amazing during his excursion in AEW. Hopefully he gets a few televised wins before he heads back to DDT. Unfortunately, tonight will not be one of those wins.

Prediction – Claudio Castagnoli retains

Thunder Rosa vs. Jamie Hayter – AEW Women’s World Championship Match

Okay, I really like Thunder Rosa. I think she’s a great wrestler. That being said, her title reign has been pretty lackluster so far. The matches have all be fine, but there hasn’t been much else of note. Her feuds with Serena Deeb and Nyla Rose were forgettable, and I’m not 100% sure what’s going on with her and Toni Storm at this point. It makes sense as to why TK would bring Jamie and Britt back into the mix. Like her or not, Britt seems to be the only woman on the roster outside of Jade that’s able to sell a story. Or maybe given the chance to, I’m not sure to be honest. Hopefully Jamie Hayter puts on a show in this match. I think she might be the best wrestler in the women’s division. Rosa is going to retain the belt here, but her days as champion are definitely numbered. I’d be shocked if she left All Out with the belt. I’m hoping for a four-way match at the PPV between Rosa, Britt, Storm, and Hayter. No idea who wins that match, but it would be awesome.
