Week 11 Recap
We’re coming down to the wire on this season of college football. Miami finally paid the price for constantly playing from behind and Indiana has 10 wins for the first time in program history. The top of the SEC continues to be muddled, while BYU is in firm control of the Big 12 (sorry Utah fans). This week is a bit of a lull in terms of major matchups, but the margin of error is just about gone for most of the top teams.

Most Interesting Matchups
Clemson vs Pittsburgh: The last time the Tigers and Panthers met, Kenny Pickett led the way in the midst of an ACC title run. Can Pat Narduzzi’s 2024 squad re-ignite that magic for Pitt, or can Cade Klubnik keep Clemson’s ACC hopes alive after Miami’s stumble against Georgia Tech?
Tennessee vs Georgia: The Vols still have a chance at the SEC title, while the Bulldogs are on life support after being picked apart by Ole Miss. Whatever happens, the loser’s playoff chances will take a massive hit.
James Madison vs Old Dominion: From an old rivalry to a new one. The Royal Rivalry features the Dukes and Monarchs in a Saturday afternoon Sun Belt clash. Both teams are still in the mix for a spot in the Sun Belt championship game, so there’s a bit more than bragging rights and Virginia supremacy on the line.
Missouri vs South Carolina: Don’t look now, but the Gamecocks are on a 3-game winning streak since their close loss to Alabama. The Tigers won’t make it easy, but this one is sure to be an exciting mid-pack SEC battle.
FCS Game of the Week
Montana State @ UC Davis, 11/16, 8 PM, ESPN+
Montana State is one of the biggest surprises at the FCS level, starting 10-0 for the first time ever. UC Davis won’t make it easy for them, as their only loss is to FBS Cal-Berkley. This top 5 FCS matchup will be an excellent nightcap for this who are sick of SEC night games.
