Two weeks of the regular season remain! While the majority of the SEC takes a week off with cupcakes and the Big Ten has mostly sorted itself out, the ACC and Big 12 still have a pecking order to settle on. No matter what happens, after this week we should have a much clearer picture as to who will still be playing games that matter come the new year, and who will be back home for the holidays.

Most Interesting Matchups
USC @ Oregon: Both the Trojans and the Ducks technically have a shot at the Big Ten Championship Game, but that would require a few shocking upsets to Indiana and Ohio State. A loss here would extinguish USC’s admittedly fleeting playoff chances, while a win for Oregon may just lock them into an at-large spot.
Pitt @ Georgia Tech: A win here for the Yellowjackets will clinch them a spot in Charlotte, while the Panthers need two wins and a bit of help. Neither team played their best football a week ago, and both will need to step it up down the stretch.
BYU @ Cincinnati: The Cougars, along with Texas Tech, have the easiest path to the Big 12 Championship Game. Cincinnati may be struggling a bit with back-to-back losses, but would love to play spoiler on Senior Day.
Washington State @ James Madison: With the chaos in the American Conference, the Dukes are now in effective pole position for the last playoff auto-bid. James Madison welcomes a Cougars team that has been admittedly disappointing, but there is no margin for error these last two weeks.
Missouri @ Oklahoma: The Sooners may be out of the SEC title race, but their upset over Alabama has them in good position for an at-large playoff spot. By contrast, the Tigers at this point in the season are not playing for much more than pride, but sometimes that’s all you need.
FCS Game of the Week
Harvard @ Yale, 12PM 11/22, ESPNU
The Ivy League champion will finally get a chance to represent the conference in the FCS playoffs, and that champion will be determined in this matchup between the Crimson and Bulldogs. May the most athletic nerds win!
